Understand sectors, geographies and supply chains
The geospatial market doesn’t operate like a traditional market sector but has emerged as a diverse ecosystem of organisations. The UK Government, in collaboration with a leading consultancy, wanted to understand the different types of companies operating across the UK market. glass.ai was able to use the rich textual content it captures from the web to map the geospatial sector and the broader ecosystem of adopters of geospatial data.
A regional government wanted to better understand the business composition and priority sectors of the region. glass.ai mapped the entire economy and went deep into the activities, labour market and supply chains of the key sectors. The results validated and identified new unique strengths of the region compared to other regions in the UK and internationally. We built a bespoke dataset and interactive map that are regularly updated to support policy-making and inform the strategy and marketing efforts of the region.
The research and marketing team at a top consulting firm was struggling to discover companies adopting emerging technologies across multiple geographies. Not the sort of question you can answer with traditional company databases and sales intelligence tools so they turned to glass.ai and we applied our language technology to deep read news, press releases, case studies and other non-traditional content to build a list of case studies and targets. This was done across multiple languages.
